Loose Women invited a studio audience to the show for the first time since the pandemic began.
The topical chat show returned this morning after undergoing a massive change to the studio. Two years ago the panel had to say goodbye to their live audience in order to keep up with covid regulations but today things finally went back to normal.
Christine Lampard was at the helm of today’s show and had the honour of welcoming the studio guests. She said: “Hello and welcome to your Monday Loose Women live and we’re not alone – our audience are back.
“It’s so lovely to see you all – you’re all shiny, happy people, it feels great. We need that today.” Christine said the panel was thrilled to have fresh faces in the studio but joked Janet Street-Porter preferred the loneliness.
The show had a staggered start after a breaking news segment forced the air time to be pushed back. The shift in order to accommodate live coverage of the next Conservative leader – Liz Truss – being announced as the next Prime Minister.
